Hey, I'm Jonas Monteiro. DJ, producer, and if you've caught my Afrobeats sets, you might know me as Jovah.
I've been playing across Bangalore for years. Thursday nights at 21st Amendment, Tuesday nights at Toca Brigade & Terrace, and The Wednesday Edit at The Fixx have been running consistently for a long time now. Beyond the regulars: curated sessions at Tequiro inside The Ritz-Carlton, Tropica sundowners, special nights, and a lot more in between. The footprint keeps growing too: Mysore, Hubli, Kochi, Coimbatore, Belagavi.
This is where I keep everything in one place. Here's what's on it.
The Events page has every upcoming show with full details: venue, timings, and the entry policy for ladies, couples, groups, and stags. There's a map view so you can see where things are happening across the city at a glance. For the recurring nights, planning ahead is easy once you know the schedule.
Most events have complimentary entry on a guestlist. Register through the event page, show up within your entry window, and you're in. No third-party apps. For most events, no cover if you plan ahead.
The thing I'm most pleased with is the Ask Jonas chat (the floating button in the corner). Ask it anything: what's on this week, what kind of music to expect, whether stags are allowed, how early to arrive for free entry. It's connected directly to live event and guestlist data, so answers are always current. It can also take guestlist registrations from the chat itself, so you don't even need to navigate to the event page. I've built the knowledge base around the questions that come up most often at my events, and I can keep expanding it.
If you're a venue or promoter looking to book me, the Booking page is where to start: what I play, my availability, and a downloadable Technical Rider with everything required to set up a proper show.
Short weekly newsletter with upcoming events straight to your inbox. Subscribe from the Events page.
The site works on any device and assistive technology: keyboard navigation throughout, proper screen reader labels on every interactive element, and contrast that holds up whether you're on a phone at the venue door or a laptop at home.
The site was built by Tempestronics, run by a friend: a Bangalore-based freelancer with close to a decade building web, mobile, and AI-powered products for startups and businesses. If you're an artist or venue looking to put something like this together, they're who I'd send you to. Their focus is SEO, accessibility, and user experience, and it shows. You'll find the link in the footer.
If you've been to a set before, thanks for coming back. If this is your first time here: come find out what you've been missing.
See you on the dancefloor.
